The Melbourne Gospel Kids Choir is a new initiative founded by Roma, for kids between the ages of 9-14 years. The choir meets every Thursday night from 4-5pm. In term 2 of 2009 it will also be running on a Tuesday night. The focus is not only on learning great Gospel songs, but also on voice technique, vocal warmups, stage presentation, harmonies and vocal blending. Members will learn to improve their singing and hearing skills in a fun and relaxed environment, whilst making new friends. Roma runs the choir personally, with many special guest teachers visiting throughout the year. Fees are payable by the term. (it works out to be around $22 per session). Entry is by audition only.
