I heard the Lord say: "PUT ON YOUR ARMY BOOTS!"

As I was in prayer I heard the Lord say, "Now is the time to put on your army
boots".

Immediately I sensed many were weary. So much so that you have resigned from spiritual battle. You have subconsciously said "I will resurface when this is over- I need a rest and just want things to go back to normal".

I then saw you remove yourself from the battle to catch your breath.

As I saw you do this, I saw you close
your eyes and put your head in the ground. However, the battle was still going on all around you. The only difference was that you could not see when the enemy was coming to strike. In your supposed "rest" you had made yourself susceptible to an even greater attack.

This is not meant to be a hard word but an encouraging one. I heard the Lord say, "As you take off your slippers and put on your army boots, a new level of rest is going to come to you. This kind of rest is reserved for those who fight. It's ACTIVE rest. You will not be weary in battle, you will be invigorated by it."

You are going to experience a refreshing even amidst attack. Because as you open your eyes you will see the carnage of the enemy's
camp in your midst. You are going to see the triumph of the Lord in a way you have never experienced. It will encourage you to no end!

And I declare that because of this you will no longer see the battlefield as a place of loss and destruction, but a place where victory is being won at an unprecedented level. You will only lose if you quit!

So put on those army boots, straighten up your back and take a deep breath...

You are braver than you think you are. You are a soldier in a kings army that always wins. You serve an eternal kingdom where warriors are born and fight with joy because they know they succeed in their assignment, if they trust the assignment giver!

You are no longer fighting to hold your ground, you're fighting to take new ground! He is restoring to you that which was lost.... and more.

It is ok to do it afraid. It won't be easy, but the Lord is on your side - so put on those army boots, get back to the action, and allow supernatural, unexplainable rest to become your default position even in the midst of war.
