The Lord Says: "Do Not Grow Weary In The Waiting!"
In a time of prayer, I saw a kitchen table with an empty chair. Father God was waiting for you, and there was an invitation to come sit and spend time alone with Jesus.
He said to me, “Tell them: Do not grow weary in the waiting!”
As He said this, I immediately remembered a story I had studied about the sound of crickets. In the story, someone had slowed down their sound and in doing so changed the frequency. And when the sound was slowed down, it sounded like a choir singing in three-part harmony. It was the most beautiful sound.
Although some say this study may not be true, regardless, the Lord brought this to my mind and what is important is what He said to me. I heard him say: “The frequency of slow is going to reveal the sound of my voice in a new way. You see, I was never silent - I was just on a different frequency. I want my children to learn to ‘embrace slow’ and not feel guilty about it. Slowing down will not mean you are delayed or miss out. I want you to ‘get off the hamster wheel’ and learn my unforced rhythms of grace.”
You have read in my word that ‘Eye has not seen no ear has heard and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him,” (1 Cor 2:9)
“The reason you have not seen and heard is not only because it’s above and beyond your wildest dreams but also because you need to tune into my frequency. The next part of that scripture is “But God has revealed them by his spirit”. I am revealing a new way, and it comes when you come into alignment with my sound. As You slow down, you will receive the revelation you so desire and crave, and what I want deeply to reveal to you.”
“When I said “Your kingdom come your will be done” is another example of this. When the kingdom comes it changes the frequency.” The Lord says “Live in my kingdom come. Live in my will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”. It’s a different frequency, it’s a different level.
Earth sounds different, but Heaven is what I want you to hear. And I want the sound of heaven to be released all over the earth, through you!”
“And you might be asking, ‘How do I do this? It is so hard?’ And I want to encourage you that it’s as simple as slowing down – just like slowing down the sound of those crickets.”
“I know it’s not easy. This is because the world is fast. And it makes you believe the lie that you are behind, that you missed it, that you’re too old or not the right age.
But here’s one way you can see if it’s not from me - the enemy is always in a rush.
“The truth is when you slow down you will accelerate how I move in your life.”
I want to set the pace.
Let me set it, says the Lord!
You don’t have to hold it all together.
You don’t have to juggle it all.
There is a simpler way.
Let go and let me take the reins.”
“And I want you to know as you exhale and let go of all the pressure you are carrying; I release the disappointment of past seasons off of you.
The frequency of sadness is no longer yours.
The frequence of depression is no longer yours!
There is a sound from heaven that wants to make itself known and be released over you. It is the sound of my voice!
It wants to echo within the chambers of your heart and resound over your spirit, soul and body. To recalibrate you back to the place of peace.”
“I want to remind you again; the waiting is not wasted time.
It is changing the frequency time…
It is like Elijah in the cave who had seen me move in power in the fire and the rain, but he still didn’t know me in the whisper. But he learned to in that cave season. He thought it was all over - but it was only just beginning!”
“And child, I do not change but I’m teaching you to change. But it’s really simply coming back to your original design. I made you to hear my voice.
“Your cave moment won’t bring emptiness and silence, it will provide space for your life to be filled with my presence.”
Where my voice is the loudest voice, you will hear.
You will slow down enough so that even a whisper will ring in your ears because you are so tuned in.”
“You see, I desire to raise up a people who will not be shaken by the noise of this world but who will only be moved by the sound of my voice.
That you would grow in discernment of who I am and that will help you discern the times you live in from a place of peace and not despair.
Where my love will be so overflowing that darkness will have no space to seep in.”
“So, my child do not grow weary in the waiting.”
I’m teaching you, refining you, moulding you into a new shape.
You are my treasure in earthen vessels!”
And as the Lord said this, I saw you like a jar. But then it was reshaped into a megaphone…
As you grew familiar and confident hearing God’s voice in a new fresh way, you became His voice.
You became a megaphone for a deaf and dying world.
You became the voice of peace.
And I saw him place you as a megaphone in his hands and bring it to his lips and He began to speak hope and life into the earth through YOU.
And it changed the frequency.
There was no more chaos.
There was a spirit of peace everywhere you went.
The oil of gladness instead of mourning
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness!
“You see,” says the Lord, “You thought this was about you, and me healing you and bringing you to a place of peace and it is that - but it’s so much more!
You are my mouthpiece for healing and restoration.
And you might say, “But God I am fragile. I am weary. I cannot carry this type of responsibility.”
And to that, I say to you, “I know your frame is fragile, for that is how I intentionally made you.
Did I now allow my son to enter the frame of mortality, the word made flesh (John 1:14) knowing how fragile it was?
I made you beautifully fragile, an earthen vessel, a jar of clay. It was my choice!
“It was intentional. I only make good things. It is not a design flaw; it is a canvas for my glory!”
To be fragile means you will trust me. You can be humble, receptive to my potters’ hands.
A fragile vessel makes room for dependence on me. And my strength shines most clearly through weakness! (1 Cor 12:9)
So that my power would be unmistakably from me and not you.
So do not grow weary in the waiting, because this is what I am forming in and through you.
Your weakness is not a barrier for my purposes, it is my chosen doorway!
Christ in you is the hope of glory! (Col 1:27)
From jars of clay to megaphones of glory,
From fragile jars to holy instruments,
From the silence of the cave to a voice that shakes nations,
From the dissonance of evil to the sound of peace,
Do not grow weary in the waiting!
Because that is my heart for you
Slow down and let me do my work.
It will change you and change the world around you!”
